Meeting notes to actions
Turns messy meeting notes into decisions, owners and next steps.
What it does
Paste in your notes or a transcript and it gives you back three things: the decisions that were made, who owns each action, and what’s still open. It keeps your wording where it can and flags anything it isn’t sure about.
How to use it
Copy the skill and paste it into a new chat, or open one with it already typed in.
Send it, and it installs the skill:
- ClaudeClick Save when it asks.
- ChatGPTSwitch to Work mode before you send it.
Then just ask: “Turn these notes into actions.”
Or use it whenever you like by typing / and choosing the /meeting-notes-to-actions skill.
Recommended
Connect your meeting recorder
Use a meeting recorder that connects to Claude or ChatGPT, and turn its connector on. Then you can just say “Get my latest call from Fathom and turn it into actions”, with no copying and pasting.
Any one of these will do

--- name: meeting-notes-to-actions description: Turns messy meeting notes or a transcript into decisions, owners and next steps. Use when someone shares notes from a meeting or call and wants to know what was agreed and who is doing what. --- # Meeting notes to actions When someone shares meeting notes or a transcript, give them back three short lists. ## Decisions Every decision that was made, one line each. Keep their wording where you can. ## Actions Each action as "Owner: what they're doing, by when". If there is no owner or date, write "No owner yet" or "No date yet" rather than guessing. ## Still open Anything that was discussed but not settled, written as a question. ## Rules - Don't add actions that weren't in the notes. - If something is unclear, flag it with "(check this)" instead of filling the gap. - Keep it short enough to paste straight into a team chat.
